Il testo della mail che il Comune di Casalgrande ha inviato al sindaco di Asbury Park, Ed Johnson, e a suoi collaboratori. Casalgrande ha avviato un dialogo, volto a sviluppare un eventuale gemellaggio, con questa città del New Jersey da circa un anno. Recentemente il sindaco Johnson ha visitato Casalgrande e conosciuto la realtà amministrativa e produttiva del luogo. Asbury si trova sulla costa, pesantemente colpita dall’uragano Sandy. L’Amministrazione comunale non ha ancora ricevuto risposta alla mail.

As I watch my television and see reports about Hurricane Sandy , I think deeply of you and the struggles your country is facing.
I am touched by the bravery, collaboration, and patience of the American people of all ages in the face of huge disasters.
